Charlie has ridden with the team since 2018. He jokes that his understated riding style means he never looks like he’s going fast—but his results say otherwise, especially when he took the 2023 UCI World title in front of home fans in Fort William.
A massively popular UCI World Champion in 2023, Charlie delivered the first Men’s Elite win for a British‑manufactured mountain bike in front of an ecstatic Fort William crowd, conquering some of the worst weather conditions the race has ever seen. Charlie also holds a British National title and is an Overall Series Champion. His breakthrough season came in 2022 on board the Atherton A200, when he posted career‑best results of seventh at Lenzerheide, eighth at Leogang, and seventh at Val di Sole. Since then, he has become a regular Top‑20 UCI World Cup rider while also mentoring the younger members of the team. His second place at the 2025 Red Bull Hardline showcased his formidable skills at what many consider “the world’s toughest DH race.
