Bike Kingdom – Lenzerheide in Switzerland is a firm favourite for Swiss MTB fans, having welcomed over 33,000 in 2025. It’s the perfect venue for getting up close with the national and international superstars of the sport, and of course the cheese-offering is by far the best on the circuit. More information coming soon.

Where it is?

The venue has hosted elite mountain bike racing since 2015, including the 2018 UCI Downhill and Cross-country World Championships. Now called Bike Kingdom, it links Arosa, Lenzerheide, and Chur to form Switzerland’s largest bike area. Nestled beneath the Lenzerhorn in Lenzerheide, in the eastern canton of Graubünden, it offers alpine adventure near world-famous Davos and St. Moritz, with Lucerne—150 km west—serving as the nearest major city.

What happened last time?

The first UCI Cross-country Short Track World Cup since the 2025 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in the venue produced fast and furious action at altitude, the wins went to UCI World Champion Jenny Rissveds (Canyon CLLCTV XCO) and the UCI World Champion Victor Koretzky (Specialized Factory Racing), with both riders showing their top form. Alessandra Keller (Thömus Maxon) rose to the occasion and gave her home fans a victory to celebrate at the UCI Cross-country Olympic World Cup while newly crowned UCI World Champion Alan Hatherly (Giant Factory Off-Road Team – XC) survived a last lap scare to win the Elite Men’s category. Read how Keller took the Victory here.

Amaury Pierron (Commencal/Muc-Off by Riding Addiction) bounced back from a collarbone injury to clinch his 13th UCI Downhill World Cup race victory, while Tahnée Seagrave (Orbea/FMD Racing) added another win to her collection following an eventful day! What’s the course like?

You can describe the Lenzerheide Cross-country as one word. Rough! It’s bumpy, rocky, has technical descents and offers riders zero rest bite – they need to have sustainable power for this one. The 2026 course will be slightly shorter than previous editions, meaning even closer racing to enjoy.

Speaking of short, the Downhill course is also one of the shortest on the calendar, but it’s mix of bike park and tech features, not to mention the huge jump into the finish bowl makes it one of the most exciting to watch as a spectator. The ‘Wall’ section close to the bottom is the most testing feature on the course, but Perrion and Nicole have proved that it can be tamed, having both won here 3 times in the past. Can they both make it 4?
