When Greta Seiwald joined the Decathlon Ford team at the start of the 2023 season, she was taking a big gamble: continuing her progress while performing in a foreign team.
After a first season of adaptation, she took her career to the next level in 2024, finishing fifth at the European Championships in dreadful conditions before achieving her first top-ten finish (9th) at the Nove Mesto World Cup. After a great winter training in South Africa, this former skier from the Dolomites was building momentum until she won her first national title in XCC. Unfortunately, 24 hours later, she broke her ankle at a national event. At 28, she’s facing the biggest challenge of her career, but there’s no doubt she’ll find the strength to recover and continue her progress.
