Ranked 41st in the UCI classification when she joined the Decathlon Ford team at the start of the 2023 season, the American rider has had a spectacular rise to the top of the world rankings.
A double national champion in 2023, she achieved her first World Cup podiums during the same season before competing in the Paris Olympics in the summer of 2024. The young woman, who splits her time between California and her European base in Girona, Spain, now has eight podiums on the international circuit. After narrowly missing victory in 2025 at the opening round in Araxá, Blunk is building momentum week by week and could soon take another step forward. Her recent win at the US XCC Championships proves that she is one of the athletes to watch.
