Bike Kingdom - Lenzerheide in Switzerland is back with a bang for the 2025 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series, hosting the final European round of the year between September 18-21 before riders cross the Atlantic for the last two races.

The venue has real UCI World Cup heritage and has been welcoming the pinnacle of mountain bike racing since 2015, including the 2018 UCI Downhill and Cross-country World Championships. Now known as Bike Kingdom, it more than lives up to its name by connecting Arosa, Lenzerheide and Chur to form the largest bike area in Switzerland.

Location and Courses

The Bike Kingdom alpine resort sits in the shadow of the Lenzerhorn in the town of Lenzerheide, which is in the eastern Swiss canton of Graubünder. The city of Lucerne 150km away to the west is the closest major hub, while the world-famous resorts of Davos and St Moritz are a short journey away.

What are the courses like?

The high elevation (1,400m) of the Bike Kingdom - Lenzerheide means that altitude is added to the equation – particularly for Endurance riders. Both the Cross-country and Downhill courses have historically lent themselves to close racing as riders duke it out amongst the densely packed woodland and expansive and exposed sections of mountain.

Who were the most recent winners?

The last UCI MTB World Cup racing at the Bike Kingdom took place in 2023, with Luca Schwarzbauer (Canyon CLLCTV XCO) and Jenny Rissveds (Team 31 Ibis Cycles Continental) winning the UCI Cross-country Short Track (XCC) World Cup and Nino Schurter (Scott-SRAM MTB Racing Team) and Loana Lecomte (Canyon CLLCTV XCO) the Olympic distance – the Swiss rider breaking the record for most UCI World Cup wins (34) in front of a partisan home crowd.

The Downhill witnessed a British invasion from two riders at either ends of their careers – Jordan Williams (Specialized Gravity) and Rachel Atherton (Continental Atherton) clinching their first and 40th UCI World Cup wins respectively.

More than just racing…

Beyond the racing, the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series in Bike Kingdom, Lenzereheide, will offer a vibrant atmosphere with live music, entertainment, an expo, and fan activations at the event village.
